As a child of the 80's, Dave Campbell strived to befriend Dr. Emmett Brown while driving a DeLorean (at 88 MPH, of course) to a Huey Lewis and the News soundtrack. When that didn't pan out, he resigned to instead becoming the editor-in-chief of his South Austin-based movie news and reviews website, Smells Like Screen Spirit.

Dave founded the site in 2008 after being inspired by his multi-talented wife (TV Host, Writer, Designer, Spokesperson), Vickie Howell, to do something that would both utilize his film school experience and feed his passion for film. Smells Like Screen Spirit is housed under the umbrella company they own together, Craft.Rock.Love Media LLC.
