Brian Salisbury

Brian Salisbury has been writing about films of all makes and models since 2008. That same year he moved from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the great mecca of cinephilia that is Austin. The move to Austin was a conscious effort to earn a crash-course in film and develop a more diverse appreciation for its many facets. Mission Accomplished. Brian began writing for Film School Rejects, brainchild of current AFCA member Neil Miller, as well as Horror's Not Dead, owned by member Peter S. Hall, in the summer of 2008. Brian still writes for FSR and is now the managing editor for HND. In addition, Brian writes for Ain't It Cool News, Cinemablend, Fandango, Hollywood.com, Movies.com, and the Fantastic Fest Blog. Brian is also a member of the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen, a podcast for Spill.com hosted by AFCA members Chris Cox and Martin Thomas. Brian has covered both SxSW and Fantastic Fest for a number of outlets. If you can't find Brian, check the Alamo Drafthouse...he's probably there. |
